Raime's Photo Album

Our wonderful nurse, Debbie, took photos of Raime after we spent some time with her. I will cherish these pictures for the rest of my life. I think that they are beautiful, but I do know that they disturb others. Please remember that Raime was born so early, that she had not a drop of fat on her. Also, keep in mind that her skin was much lighter. The pictures make her appear very dark.

Below the slide show of the hospital photos are a few that we took.

This is a picture of the roses Aaron brought me while I was in the hospital. I was in the hospital thru Easter, and didn't get a chance to do all that fun stuff with the boys.

This picture was taken at Raime's graveside memorial service, in New York on April 27th. She is buried near my great grandfather, Ivan, as well as other relatives.

We put up a shelf to put Raime's things on. On the left is the bear just like the one she was buried with that my good friend Jeannie brought for me while I was in the hospital. I have one, and so do both her grandmothers. The lamb was the only baby gift I received while I was pregnant, from my friend Lisa. In that box are all the little trinkets that she had in her pictures, as well as the blanket she was lying on and the clothes she was wearing. The box is a memorial box given to me by the hospital, as well as the other things that are inside it. On the shelf there is also some pictures of her, the ultrasounds I had done, her Star info, her hand and footprints, and the matching leis that Jeannie made for Aaron, Raime and I.
